How to qualify for EC08?
EC08 is limited to European players. How the players of each country qualify for EC is the country's decision.
Please contact your country's representative if: you have questions on how to qualify or if you would like to compete at EC08.
During 2008, players who did not qualify for EC through their country may apply for a wildcard online. Wildcard registration will open in mid May 2008. (see Roadmap for details)
Who's allowed to compete EC08?
Left in English for clarification. EC08 is limited to players from European countries. A player is qualified to represent a country if he/she meets the following regulations:
- the player holds a valid membership* of the country's disc golf organisation
AND
- the player holds the passport of the specific country or is a current resident of the country for minimum 1 year
AND
- the player has been nominated (qualified) by the national organisation or been allocated a wild card by the EC TD.
* In the case of Denmark: both DDGU and DFSU membership is a valid membership for Danish players in EC08. DDGU members may represent Denmark at EC08 providing they have been either nominated by DFSU, or have received a wildcard from the EC08 TD.
PDGA membership is not required. However, PDGA members are asked to state their PDGA# to receive a rating.
In case of any questions, please contact the Tournament Director.

Together with our austrian friends we organise the austro-hungaro tour every year. The tour comprises 6 tournaments. In addition to that we have our
national championships, which is only open for hungarian players. Based on
the results of these tournaments a national rank list is created. This rank
list, plus the subjective factors (e.g. if the player has the necessary
resources to take part in the european championships) shall later serve as a
basis for allocating the available players' spots among our players.
