Course one: Söhnstetten

The main course will be in Söhnstetten around the WSCA clubhouse. It's located at the outer border of the village. The course itself is along the Mauertal - a moorland valley - with altitude differences of up to 40m. This 18 hole course in a wonderful nature is widely open but is challenging on it's own way due to the large elevation changes. The holes lengths vary from short 60 meters to the famous hole no 5 (no 5 in regular course) with 200m length and 35m altitude difference. In winter, the area is used as ski slope. During summer play, lots of sheep can be found there. This is what Söhnstetten makes beautiful: a clean, large and untouched nature. Take a look at the course pictures.

Parallel to the top of the course is a gavel road on both sides where spectators can follow the happening without disturbing participants. Next to this course is the WSCA Clubhouse which offers a nice stay for players and spectators as Tournament Bistro for chillout.

The EC layout is different from the Albuch Open layout. Course modification has started in early 2007 and made players in Albuch Open 2007 happy.

While course two (Brenzpark) is completely flat and challenging due to water hazards and tight fairways, Söhnstetten is widely open. But the altitude differences may be a completely new experience for some Disc Golfer. This difference between the two courses will make the EC a real challenge.
